I let go, simply let go - that's what many children have thought here, and then taken their first steps skiing. Skiing is child's play on the magic carpet on our hotel premises - including for parents who find letting go easier in our protective atmosphere.
There is always snow here (if not, our snowmaking lances help out a little). Sun, too. And of course, toboggan runs directly on the hotel grounds - sleds and Bobbycars are waiting for young and old drivers.
If you are looking for winter experiences outside of our spacious grounds, you are spoiled for choice: The nearby Katschberg (web tip: webcams on the Katschberg / Aineck), also called "Kachi", is a snow-sure family ski area, which is easily accessible via the A10 motorway and is known for its XXL-wide slopes. 16 lifts and 70 kilometres of ski slopes await slope speedsters. There are fantastic views from the peaks. The ski schools are already tried-and-tested by hundreds of Baby Hotel guests. Even without skis, you can enjoy a great winter experience on the Katschberg: tobogganing, for example, or a sleigh ride.
It is only twelve kilometres from Trebesing to Spittal an der Drau and from there it is a short hop to the Goldeck, a sports mountain, which provides the perfect terrain for winter sport beginners, but not only that: More than 50 hectares of freeride area guarantee fantastic deep snow descents.
Hot on white? There are even more winter adventures at our baby Hotel!
